Bad Faith is two shows in one: it's a panel show about politics and pop culture with a rotating cast of performers and politicians, artists and activists, writers and radicals; and it's a two-way podcast where two people from two very different parts of the left make the case for one less terrible world.

Briahna Joy Gray (@briebriejoy) is a former attorney, National Press Secretary for the Bernie Sanders campaign, co-host of campaign podcast Hear The Bern, and a journalist who is early enough in her political career that she remains (tragically) sanguine.

Virgil Texas (@virgiltexas) is an internet user and co-host of Chapo Trap House.

In the full episode, Brie attempts to address the "good" faith arguments against voting third party. What responsibility does she have, now that she has a modest platform and (marginal) influence, to support Biden? (Or to at least avoid depressing Democratic turnout by saying truthful, but unflattering, things about him?)

Virgil makes the case that no individual vote matters anyway, meaning that even swing-state third party voters shouldn't be blamed for Clinton's loss, and Brie ends up arguing against her own interests for a solid ten minutes. But all in all its proof that the left is willing to probe its own internal logic and engage in a higher level of debate than simply calling our antagonists Russian rubes. You're welcome.
