Bad Faith is two shows in one: it's a panel show about politics and pop culture with a rotating cast of performers and politicians, artists and activists, writers and radicals; and it's a two-way podcast where two people from two very different parts of the left make the case for one less terrible world.

Briahna Joy Gray (@briebriejoy) is a former attorney, National Press Secretary for the Bernie Sanders campaign, co-host of campaign podcast Hear The Bern, and a journalist who is early enough in her political career that she remains (tragically) sanguine.

Virgil Texas (@virgiltexas) is an internet user and co-host of Chapo Trap House.

Bernie 2020 Deputy Campaign Manager Ari Rabin-Havt is back to discuss his new tell-all book about the 2020 campaign: The Fighting Soul: On The Road With Bernie Sanders. The book is well timed to speculation about Bernie running in 2024, and concerns voiced by many progressives that he didn't take the movement far enough. I asked Ari about a potential Bernie run, the Congressional Progressive Caucus endorsement of Nina Turner's corporate opponent Shontel Brown, and whether the left has been too easy on Bernie -- rationalizing his inflexibility as an inextricable part of his admirable consistency. Also, Ari dishes on Facebook's attempts to control the sitting senator's messaging, how Bernie's Facebook page was killed by the algorithm, and why he once had to secretly dispose of towels soaked in Bernie's blood.
